Could the person who flagged my contribution above please tell me what I've done wrong?
    Clay soil - Cheshire/Derbyshire border

I play with plants and soil and sometimes it's successful

It's not me, I swear! Maybe that person erroneously thought that flagging meant admiring your excellent contribution to this thread. o:)

I have a few of the species already mentioned flowering with the best being the winter jasmine and winter clematis for obvious reasons but I did also notice wild strawberries and Inca berries still blooming.

I was surprised to find an Alstroemeria at the back of a border

It was worth going on that 1st Jan. flower hunt, then! Do I spy with my little eye a self-made plant support on that pic?

I got flagged once @Lunarsea for an equally inoffensive post 😕.  I wouldn't worry about it. I've often thought that the position of the Flag link and Forum home link could be easily confused, by some!
    Wirral. Sandy, free draining soil.
