NEW YEAR’S DAY FLOWER COUNT 2024

Dear fellow gardeners,
Just a reminder that our traditional New Year's Flower Count starts in a week's time exactly. Time to get your camera, phone, note-book, etc. at the ready and search your garden(s), park, property, pastures, fields, domain(s)... for likely candidates.
Below, not a proper subject for our yearly quest, just a snowy Japanese lantern in illustration of the spirit of Xmas.

    I had a look today. Nothing. A few sodden rosebuds and a sickly - looking vinca. Looking forward to seeing what you've all got.
    I assume  a few  flowering osteos in the porch don't count😞

    Anything that more or less looks like a flower counts!
