We're on he slippery slope here. OH has retrieved from ethe "cave" the two bare branches we hand from the kitchen and dining room ceilings, cleaned them and tested the lights. He's now upstairs in the spare bedroom testing all our other lights.
So hard to get a picture of the tree with the lights on, all came out blurred. I had to focus on the wall next to it, and then crop the picture, but it seems to have worked. No fairy or star on top, we have a felt badger I bought at a Christmas market a few years ago. Same fake ivy wreath on the front door for a couple of years now. It stayed on, despite the howling gale a few nights ago.
Deconstructed Christmas tree I used the wrong lights and realised it would pssss me off for the duration. So I've unpicked it and broken the head off yet another glass angel and I don't care. She should've been more careful 😡 Bah sticky humbug you find covered in fluff in the bottom of a schoolchild's gym bag😠

Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.
Your cat is beautiful @amancalledgeorge and your tree is a perfect fit @WonkyWomble.
