    Worth a go. 👍 If you could put the tree in a sealed bag with it, it might help.  Or you could try cat litter, as this absorbs aromas.  The washing powder trick is really a masker more than a remover.

    Possibly.  I don't have a tumble drier, so have never used these, but I don't see why not.

    I've used bicarbonate of soda in an airtight box to try and eliminate the smell on old sheet music but it didn't work at all.
