I'm finding that easily replaceable things that I could buy in the unlikely situation that I would need them again is an easier option. I have found a prodigious quantity of tights and socks. The hard stuff can wait.
Nor me, but I find it hard to chuck perfectly good stuff away, and I don't think charity shops would want tights unless they're new and still in the packets.

I've let a good number of pairs of socks go - but not thrown them, because . . . . . . . . . they might come in useful as padding breakable items. They ARE clean - even if they've been in the cupboard a few years!!
Why buy more bubble wrap, if you already have something similar?!
I don't intend to die fairly soon - I've just spent a fortune at the dentist! However, many posts here have made me look at my tat in a very different way. I look at the difficult stuff and ask myself whether my daughter would value or get why I'd kept stuff. . Some things are really important to me. Some things I'm keeping in case they're important. They're not.
I don't think any of us plans to die soon @B3 but you never know and I don't think it's fair to leave all the sorting to others to do when you've gone.
Why not invite your daughter over for a morning/afternoon/day/weekend and ask her what she'd like you to keep. Do it one drawer/one chest/one cupboard at a time so neither of you is overwhelmed and you can still have some fun time.
