That's probably why I never used it @B3, too frightened of breaking it and besides, I couldn't put it in the dishwasher!

I'm finding that easily replaceable things that I could buy  in the unlikely situation that I would need them again is an easier option. I have found a prodigious quantity of tights and socks.
    The hard stuff can wait.

I've got a load of tights tucked away somewhere that I'll probably never wear again. I should recycle them for tying up plants in the garden.

I don't think I've got enough plants that need tying.

Nor me, but I find it hard to chuck perfectly good stuff away, and I don't think charity shops would want tights unless they're new and still in the packets.

I've let a good number of pairs of socks go - but not thrown them, because . . . . .
    . . . .
they might come in useful as padding breakable items.
They ARE clean - even if they've been in the cupboard a few years!!

Why buy more bubble wrap, if you already have something similar?!

I don't think any of us plans to die soon @B3 but you never know and I don't think it's fair to leave all the sorting to others to do when you've gone.

Why not invite your daughter over for a morning/afternoon/day/weekend and ask her what she'd like you to keep.   Do it one drawer/one chest/one cupboard at a time so neither of you is overwhelmed and you can still have some fun time.
