Got the tail end of it down here in Kent. Lots of (very welcome) rain, and plenty of wind, but certainly not gale force here. Gone very mild as well. When I Ieft home at 6.30am today it was 15 degrees.
Report from @WonkyWomble of torrential rain in Suffolk. Son’s colleagues report a lot of flooding and trees down on main and minor roads in the @Bury St Edmunds area. He has decided to WAH this morning and await further reports.
Pretty much the same in Norfolk with several major roads closed.
I always assumed you were in Wales @barry island 😄. I'm just up the road from you in Warwickshire and we had loads of rain last night and the night before. Husband drove to work in Northamptonshire early this morning and said the drive was horrendous.
@Crazybeelady Barry Island by the sea would be nice but I'm stuck in Northampton, it hasn't been windy down here and just light rain on and off has it been windy in Warwickshire? It will probably blow a hooley now tomorrow.
I really dislike these few weeks every year. Since the famous hurricane of '87 (did it even have a name?) we always have bad storms over the mid to end October and start of November. Stay safe those of you involved in the worst of the present one.

Those trees could come crashing down on him and his dog at anytime.
