Yes of course... these are from either a first year grafted plant, or own root.  I don't have photos of a mature plant.

..early spring foliage.. full of reds, greens, and golds..

..such lovely foliage and red stems..

.. feminine and beautifully formed blooms, with a sweet scent..

    ...this from a cutting..

    ..lovely red new vigorous growth..

Thank you @Marlorena! Order placed... :)

Has anyone grown a rose called Allen Chandler? How is it in terms of flower power?
I am trying to decide between Allen Chandler and The Generous Gardener and failing miserably... :)

@Perki my BMS is in a pot quite happily so its fine as a shrub :)
Its super rain / heat tollerant.

Perki, that's a really sturdy looking arch.. great work ! I expect your Mum is delighted with it.
Lovely bare roots too.. they're quick getting them out these days.. no time to change our minds..

I loved 'Allen Chandler' when I saw it at Sissinghurst on a wall there, a really outstanding red rose, it stood out and grabbed attention, like red roses tend to do..

I also have a bud on my Desdemona @Marlorena! My first bud ever as I only got all my roses last summer :)
Does this mean it's time to start feeding?

I'm new at rose growing and only became aware of the Austin name over the summer. I'm curious as to why David Austin send out all these different discount code names - at least 3 in the last two days - rather than just the one? I noticed in the autumn when the bare root seasons started it was the same.
I think it’s just to see where their marketing is working most. It’s more a data thing for them than to confuse customers. They’ll be able to see how many use certain codes.
