here are  the most controversial tea topics in UK

what do you use to heat the water?
what type water do you use?
what type of tea do you use ?
what do you drink the tea out of ?
what do add to the tea before drinking?
what do serve with the tea?
yes, I know small wars have started over these topics.

Kettle. Filtered tap, Yorkshire, china mug, milk,  Chocolate coated digestive biscuits(McVities)
     You forgot the teapot.
Please don't try and teach the Brits how to make tea.  Dunking a tea bag in luke warm water is not how we do it.  Even worse the iced tea concoction with  Lipton teabags soaked in cold water.
  • Oh bum! I don't drink tea. Does that mean I'm Murican?

  • The only tea I drink is Darjeeling … weak with no milk.

Green tea for me nothing added.
  • If it helps @pansyface I'm a very well reared child and sometimes people make it for me so I drink it. 🤢 Any old bilge-water is better than bad coffee.

Same here, but tap isn't filtered and I add 3 sucralose sweeteners.

I drink more instant coffee than tea.
Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.

High five. Although my tea guy has been struggling since Brexit and can't supply my favourite Genmaicha anymore. Gunpowder green tea is always excellent though.

If you can keep your head, while those around you are losing theirs, you may not have grasped the seriousness of the situation.
