  • That works better in colour for me too, @Plantminded. I like desaturated images where colour is not really a part of it, portraits can be gorgeous in b/w for example, and where strong contrasts are one of the main features, e.g. your lone tree above. For your reed bed, though, the colour makes it.

    I must be ill, I haven't taken a photo all day :open_mouth:. Yet...

    Thank you @NormandyLiz, as soon as I’d posted them I realised that the reed bed looked better in colour, but it needed a bit of help!  I get out every day if I can see a dry gap in the hourly weather forecast!
