I've altered this one now to emphasise the orange tips of the trees which I like at this time of year. Too far perhaps?
Just a little. It can depend on monitors, I use 2 different laptops (don't ask) and I cannot get the colour the same. On this one, which is normally towards the cool side, your shot is looking a bit far into the oranges in the foreground and magenta tinted in the trees/sky.
I don't often do indoor shots but I'd saved these up for a rainy day
So on my other laptop your shot's colours look much better, yet this one is normally warmer so I would have expected the warm colours to have been even more saturated. I won't even try and understand.
Colours are miserable now so I've stuck to black and white.
Lone tree, reed beds and birdwatchers at work!
Your last one has a sense of mystery about it, @plantminded! Who are the people, what are they doing etc. There is a sense of chancing upon something unusual, and being an onlooker, an outsider, looking in.
Sorry to witness the demise of the forum. 😥😥😥😡😡😡I am Spartacus
Thank you @clematisdorset. In the last photo, they were all birdwatchers, you can just about make out one of the tripods. I did go and chat to them before they moved off to another popular location.

Again, not desaturated, just not heaps of colour.
