  • Thank you @clematisdorset.  In the last photo, they were all birdwatchers, you can just about make out one of the tripods.  I did go and chat to them before they moved off to another popular location.
Oh how funny @Plantminded ! Your photo really drew me in because of the sense of 'mystery'! It seemed more esoteric somehow.

  • Ooh I do like the subtle smoky and red effects, @Fire. Is that Rosa Moonlight?

Yes, Moonlight with "Smoke" on half, from Lunapic. The red is an acutal red from dahlias - not added in. The background is muted rather than colour heightened. A good guess all around!

I like that the smoke effect has a slider so you can add as much as you like.

"Smoky Moonlight" - a good name for an album, perfume or porn star.

That is a fabulous smoky moonlight image @Fire. Having tried so many lunapic effects, a bit of smoke remains my favourite.

Rather too much on this perhaps..

I don't think that is too much, it's wonderful! The only thing I'd change would be the intensity of the sun (you'd probably have to do a fiddly cloning or layer job).

@Penny_Forthem that strong contrast in b/w on the first one works so well, especially with the white on the trunks. Keep on clicking and playing...
