    Life is too short for the mollifying of some posters. The likes of Bidet have been constantly encouraged by some members who seem to think that if they are nice to him then he will behave. He hasn’t.
    If this new person is a child, it seems unlikely his bio would mention his willingness to block other posters.

    If you wish to appease such people, then fine, but don’t be surprised what appeasement leads to. I will call out what I see is wrong.

    Hmm choose which plant you do not own?
    Maybe this one?

    Down the A24 there is a sign saying "Big PLant".  I thought it meant JCBs and that sort of thing, but aparrently they sell garden plants.

    Surely "Plant" mean JCBs, the green things are "Plants).

    @bédé … it’s a pun 🙄

    @Emptyheadtime, if you read the posters bio, it is very hard, imo, to think of them other than a pillock.

    Big plant crossing. I have watched in vain but Burnham Wood hasn't come to Dunsinane as far as I can tell.

    Might be worth taking a minute before piling in. Yes poster/comments look odd, Rather than state the obvious on their thread and be rude I looked at their YouTube and have come to the conclusion it’s just a kid so have decide to ignore rather than do what some others have.
    I also think they are sincere. Reminds me of what a young relative posts (esp the reference to their youtube handle- youtube is life!) and I don't see any harm in it. I joined a forum when I was 14 or 15. Probably posted a lot of rubbish, but fortunately all the village elders were kind and tolerant and remain my friends 25 years later.

    We must be careful not to put off young people from learning about gardening ,it may be that posting is just a way into their gardening growth ,also don’t ignore the fact that * special* people don’t always make total sense when typing and they too are interested in learning about gardening .

    Surely this poster is young and neurodiverse so it is easiest just to let the posts slip by.
