I'm certainly old enough, but a particular medical condition has lead to the erasure of a section of my memory bank.

Partial hardware failure, together with various problems with the software, cause life to swing from challenging to amusing. 🤔😵‍💫

@JennyJ it is amazing just how many of the craft skills are transferable. I said as much when deciding the pitch for my new garage roof. I'm good at triangles! I think engineering/scientific brain has a lot to do with it. I can draw buildings and crystalline structures ad infinitum but don't ask me to draw a tree! I'm not strong on wifty wafty.

...wifty wafty...? Is that like nibbly wibbly or more akin to norkin dorkin?...

Kind of more along the lines of arty £arty @steveTu.
I watch in amazement as my gifted artist friend creates shading and wee lines that represent things that I didn't even know were there. I'm more a ruler with a pointy pencil on graph paper kind of person.

I've always been able to draw - as long as I can do it with a ruler, set-square and compass :D.

My wife was the wifty-wafty one - I was always more farty than arty - her laughing cows were a joy to behold.

I don't mind crochet on pillar boxes but wrapping scarves around trees and leaving them to rot makes me mad😡
If only they did rot,  they’re made from plastic fibres, acrylics,  polyesters,  they’ll be around for as long as disposable nappy.
