A few more photos of patio dahlias; the bees love them.

And then my heart with pleasure fills,
And dances with the daffodils (roses). Taking a bit of liberty with Wordsworth :)

  • It really is lovely @CatDouch if a bit close in colour to by Bacardi which has been in flower for ages. Will try it in the ground next year, it's a bit big for a pot.

We’re off to our little village show today and I’ve entered into the dahlia class, 4 dahlias, but I can’t decide which to take … I’m favouring the 4 Cafe au Lait but my husband thinks the 4 Jowey Joshua look better.  Any opinions? It really is a very small show and I know it’s only fun but …..

Whilst I prefer the 'Jowey Joshua' type for the garden, for a show, maybe the Cafe au Lait would make a bigger impression for such an occasion...?  It is quite an unusual colour..

    .. best of luck !..

Thanks @Marlorena in the end I took the Jowey Joshua ones, they were easier transport!! I’ll know later if I made the right decision.
