pitter-patter Daylily flowers don't have much flavour, but neither does lettuce. You could use them for adding colour to your salads.  Apparently they have quite a lot of vitamin C, so they are good for you if you have scurvy.

I've never grown those, but always admire them when I see them...  I've shown Waterlily so all good !..

That Orange Pekoe Dahlia is gorgeous Plantminded.. looks to be a richer coloured, smaller form of David Howard?..

    Lovely selection of Daylilies Suesyn..

Thank you @Marlorena, yes, I thought it was strikingly like David Howard but a brighter orange, I think I prefer it!

Very happy that this tiny tuber overwintered... it was a seedling from the darker purple Night Butterfly last year. I don't have much real red in the garden otherwise unfortunately.
    Its parent,

Frustratingly, many blooms are getting instantly eaten by snails this year,  whether the plants are in the ground or potted.

apart from this one (which might be a Sarasota Joy one)- they even leave the leaves alone!

Time to plant some more sacrificial hostas and marigolds I suppose!
