I think all of my dahlias are out now,* Alfie_, with the straggler Thomas Edison (horrible name.... Elephant Electrocutor!) appearing only in the last two weeks, though the molluscs have been so ridiculously persistent this year that they haven't all produced pristine blooms yet.  Your beds look really nice.

Your dahlias are beautiful, @CatDouch. I am also liking Twist more and more! Lovely posies, too.

*Edit: I tell a lie... "Rhubarb and Custard" from a small cutting has yet to set buds.

I really wanted to like Cafe au Lait, and planted it with great anticipation last year... sadly it's not for me... not sure why, maybe just that it was too big and seemed to dominate the plot and the vase! Anyway, pulled it out, and am much happier with the ones I planted this year!

@WAMS yes I agree, a terrible name. I got bought it as a gift for the physicist in me but, as many don’t know (including the gift giver), he was a horrible man (even animal killing aside). He killed many dogs and some calves too all in his quest to try and discredit Tesla’s a.c. current. Never won the Nobel Prize nor invented the first light bulb so no idea why you would choose him for a dahlia name! Rant over 😂
