    Just the kind I like.. that is classic spider form.  Rich colour.. I know you'll fit that in to your sparkling garden and look just right..

    @pitter-patter They are very easy to grow. They are hardy down to -30C, and are happy in acid or alkaline soil of any kind. In America the wild daylilies are known as ditchweed, but they are also very drought tolerant. The only thing they don't like is full shade. They are the most popular perennial in the USA.

    'Joan Senior' is lovely, I've heard of that one too.

    In fact most of them do not have any scent, but a few have a good scent, so you are lucky!

    One of the best scented varieties is Lilioasphodelus.. isn't that right Alan?  I think it's lovely.. I planted some this year but they will flower next year..  thin, grassy, rather graceful foliage..

  • Lilioasphodelus does have a good scent. Citrina is another with a good scent.

    ..some watering and liquid feeding before flowering, produces benefits.. this is a huge bloom on 'Mood Elevator'..
