I mentioned Asperger's on another thread but it was removed, probably politically incorrect. I have experience of that. There may be a reason for behaviour, in which case understandable.

I doubt it very much @Busy-Lizzie. I have quite a bit of experience with the autistic spectrum, and I have a friend whose son has quite severe Aspergers. I doubt any of them would behave in such a way.
It doesn't make any difference what the reason is anyway - it still doesn't excuse such rude behaviour to people trying to help.

I agree with @Fairygirl, people with autism can appear rude at times when they don't get the picture but none I've known have been deliberately and consistently rude

Problem at the moment is that we have 2 consistently rude poster, @bede and @war garden 572 and the moderators are doing nothing about it.

I still can’t get over being lauded for my clarity by a poster who in just five posts on this thread has made at least 67 spelling and grammatical errors. I imagine his first language is not English and, even if it were, the errors are of no consequence. However if you are going to chastise someone for not writing “in proper form or reasonable way” you need to be sure your own house is in order.

  • actually I find the attitude many here as rude.
  • philippasmith2  the reason I only wanted magazines names only, instead newspapers
names is simple, there is no historic uk magazine archive but there is a uk newspaper
archive. https://www.britishnewspaperarchive.co.uk/    as for online sources of old magazines you need names of magazine to find the archives online if they are online.
  • opps sorry will be back in minute.

We find you rude, you despite the help you have been given, seem to find us rude, but there is an easy solution, find a forum more suitable for your needs.

@war garden 572 isn't that an American magazine? They thanked you for helping them find lost pages so you see this politeness works both ways, you ask politely what it is you are looking for and when people kindly try to help you, you thank them without rudeness.
