Good morning all. Feels cold here but I suppose it’s only 6.30 really. Dry at least so I can get fiancés chef whites on the line to dry I always feel drying outside is more hygienic after an old college lecturer drilled into me that “sunshine and fresh air are the best disinfectant”
A bit of advice please from the 🐈‍⬛ Kitty people on here. Are those feeding bowls raised at an angle any good?My boys are getting older and I fancied trying them. Anyone got them?

Morning everyone, Slept quite well but woke up early. Have been snuggled on the sofa with a cup of tea or two. Watched a beautiful sunrise over the fields. Beautiful blue sky at the moment and the sun peeking over the trees. But forecast isn't that great for later.
@Biglad we haven't got a 13 in our close, although house no. 14 is 13 in my eyes 😕 😂😂  Hope you manage to get all leaflets delivered soon.
Doing unmentionables this morning, OH's brother coming this afternoon.
    Have a good day everyone.

I was surprised by the No.13 thing. Bit silly really!

It's a lovely day here - bit fresh but would be ideal for plodding round the streets. Shame I've got to stay at home staring at 2 laptops :o

Good morning Rosie, Ruby, Debs and SGL. I'm back from 'sco and it was quiet so I was in and out PDQ.
Yes, Debs, your lecturer was correct. This is one of the reasons our water reservoirs are left open as ultra violet light is excellent at making bacteria inactive. I have never tried the feeding bowls you describe. Lily is ancient now but still manages her regular bowls without any difficulty.
Biglad, when my sis and I stopped over in Kuala Lumpur on our way to our niece's wedding in Australia, the hotel we stayed in had us confused at first because there was no fourth floor. It went Floor 3 then Floor 3A. We discovered that in Malaysia 4 is regarded as unlucky and there were no rooms with a 4 in them - replaced by an A. Apparently the word for four sounds like the word for death. It had us fascinated. We had decided to stop over there as we spent 3 years of our lives living there on one of Dad's overseas postings and we wanted to revisit some old haunts. I would go back there in a heartbeat. Fabulous place. Our hotel was near to the Petronas towers which we could see from our window.

    Morning all.

The street where OH's last house was had a 15 and a 15b but no 13.

We are off to look at Peter Beales Classic roses this morning.
Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.

Have a lovely time looking at all the roses @Busy-Lizzie I wonder how many jump in your trolley 😉
    I wonder why it wasn't 12B instead of a number 13 .....but 15B 🤔

That must have been confusing at first @Ladybird4 missing a floor 🙂

@star gaze lily because it was the odd number side of the road. Even numbers were on the other side.

I bought a red rambler called Chevy Chase.

    Good evening to all.

LB, I can say only one thing about Snoopy cartoon from this morning, "bah humbug". 😁

It was quite awful day, more like late winter. It's raining since last night. Would you believe me if I say that there is thin layer of snow at my cottage. My neighbor sent me photos. I don't feel quite well, maybe because clock changing. I'll have pizza and tea for dinner.

Ante ! Chill out - its over! Sorry you are not feeling too good - short of sleep maybe? Wow - more snow. Mind you in the highest areas of the UK they were talking of wintry showers. It has been sunny here most of today but what I want to know is why, when I have just finished putting 5 jumpers on the string thing, the sun disappears and clouds start to form? Is it just a well known phenomenon or are the storm gods just being mean?

LB, it must be short of sleep, and late drive last Friday contribute either. I'm much better after dinner and hot cup of tea.
