    My plain-vanilla Tuscany is 6 ft and isn't running after 5 years.  I can understand why you gave it or its superb away.  

    My "Ch de Mills"would be perhaps 6 ft, but flops to a rounded 4x4 ft if not supported.

    My "Complcata", I personally would not call a gallica, but would be too big for you.  That is flowering now on another thread.

    I prune them after flowering just for tidiness and to take out dead wood.  I don't think it affects the height much.

    @ElbFee.   Thank you for your kind words. I have been known to get down and do some weeding now when I have the energy.  A job I rather enjoy.  :)
