That was a beautiful message @Hostafan1 I'm sure it gave you some comfort. Sounds like a wonderful visit today Dove, you must feel such relief at the progress he has made. A lovely sunny day here but around mid afternoon it suddenly went very dark and we had a heavy hail storm for about 20 minutes. Forecast for tonight is freezing temperatures and icy roads for tomorrow morning.
Morning all. Inspiring message Hosta.👏👏. Dove I’m pleased to read about your son’s progress. Now you need to concentrate on YOU!
Hubby has been driven to Canberra today by a community driver, to meet his new Oncologist. His previous one has moved to Melbourne.🤔
He was kept busy with phone calls yesterday. There is a bushfire around Bredbo and they have been nagging him to organise volunteer firefighters to go up there. He did manage to get crews organised for the next few days. It’ll be interesting to hear his comments when he gets home from Canberra this afternoon, since the highway goes along that way.
Ps. I meant to say that I loved the photos Lizzie27. I’d love to get out into my garden, but I’m still without energy after the Covid session in September so the weeds will just have to keep getting bigger.
Good morning all 😊 ☕️ The morning started with sunshine and a sparkling frost, but now the outside is shrouded with fog … however ‘they’ say it won’t last for long. I have to go into the city … son needs some pyjamas and a dressing gown as he’s soon going to be helped to get mobile 😊

Now that is good news @Dovefromabove. I am so happy he is better. @Hostafan1 it must be somewhat comforting to read those words, I hope that you are able to meet in person over a lovely dinner somewhere.
Weather is odd but it is March after all (Marzo pazzerello, vedi il sole e prendi l'ombrello). Snowing a little this morning, supposed to clear up later. Gotta go for another blood test this morning, I think I might bus it.
Heavy frost and we still have some snow. Our pair of Mallards have been on the pond for 3 days now, so they might stay for the season. Tree surgeon came to sort out the Beech tree with murderous intentions yesterday.
How can you lie there and think of England When you don't even know who's in the team
I just had a phone call … from Rob!!! I’m to get soft ‘jogging-type’ trousers and big baggy teeshirts; no dressing gown. He’s going to be ‘up and doing’ not in bed. Shopping here I come …

Later I shall check my leafmould bags.

A bit grey and damp here today.
Misty outside.
I shall go to the SM then the Post Office in town for stamps to Europe. Having such a big family in France means sending lots of birthday cards.
