  • Lily you’ll be glad your boiler man has been and gone and you have some time to have a cuppa. A cooler day today relaxing on the bed with my furry friend.  The tree has been shortened and left on the grass.  Our local ATM has been out of use for months now I wonder if they will refill at some stage.

10/10 Debs for showing such control. Home grown cukes are definitely nicer in taste than SM ones as are home grown tomatoes.
Rosie, I forgot to say I was so pleased that tree didn't land on your property. It just goes to show how strong the winds have been.

Well done you Ruby. I am doing the de-clutter 'thing' too but I think you are much better at it than I am. Must admit to enjoying dismantling the chest of drawers yesterday. Must do loads more though.

Sounds a good boiler man SGL.

Gorgeous coloured flower on that cactus LB.

OH had an advance birthday present today. He didn't want anything so I made an appointment for a chiropodist to come and treat his feet. She was nice, pretty and chatty, looked much younger than her age - or is that because I'm no longer young? She cut his nails, rubbed of rough bits and massaged his feet with scented creams. Took about an hour. Think he enjoyed it.

I saw on Next Door that they will be having an Open Garden day in a local village in summer and someone was looking for flower pots to use for plants for the plant sales. I had lots in a chest in the shed so I contacted her and she came this afternoon and took them.
Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.
  • He was @Busy-Lizzie ....from the well known Gas company 😉
Sounds like a lovely treat for your OH
@Rubee I should sort out some things for a charity shop too.

Busy, that sounds like a lovely treat for your OH. You will both be getting quite excited/nervous about the 23rd now. I wish someone near me needed plant pots - I have hundreds. I've never heard of Next Door. Is that something local to you?
Haven't seen Hazel today. Hope all is well with her as it is her birthday tomorrow.
I am signing out for today so enjoy your evenings anyone still around and I'll see you tomorrow before I go to see the eye specialist.
