I managed to find a setting in my camera that made the intensive sunshine less effecting the outcome.
With newly painted bench in the background. Most important, OH likes the colour and that's all that counts
This is the first time I see a Deutzia flower in my garden. When we bought it in 2021, it was full of flowers in the garden centre, but developed no flower at all last year. I can't wait to see them all at once
I'm really glad that the Salvia plants flower, because I really struggle with Salvia in my garden. They probably like sandy soil and I offer them heaviest clay soil.
The first dappled shade from the Lavender tree. Unfortunately, the tree develops to a cone rather than going into the widen. The label said 4 meters wide
I saw two Mullein moth caterpillars yesterday.
I wish I could get the variety of the plants into a picture. I think that's the real reason behind to plant in groups.
@GardenerSuze Just for you. After the top was half eaten, the rest is still flowering, but the Eremurus in only 2 meters high by now. Normally it gets bigger. The Giant Alliums next to it have my height.
@Simone_in_Wiltshire Thankyou I noticed your Eremurus straight away in your first photo. I do love your garden, you have a natural talent for photography, gardening and garden writing too. When I next speak to my bro I will mention your photos. I am the first of many who I am sure will 'like' your post. Is your Deutzia Strawberry Fields?
I have worked as a Gardener for 24 years. My latest garden is a new build garden on heavy clay.
