We had a lot of wind in the recent days and being on the sunny side in summer doesn't make it easy to take images. There is only a gap around at nine in the morning when neighbour's cherry tree gives dappled shade.
I grew them from seeds and should be Phlox. I thought Phlox open their flowers at night, but this type is open all day.
With the first Cerinthe and Linaria flowers come the bees.
No, I don't want to fool you. The salads start to flower. One aspect of being wild-life friendly is to let the salads and herbs flower.
Rose is quite happy. Been in a few years, gave it a good cut back last year and established a good frame. Seems to have done the trick! Little bit of black spot though.....
