If you can send me the original photo I can edit it properly for you. That was just a quick fix job. I get roped in to fix a lot of old family photos so I've had lots of practice. Compared to fixing old sepia toned photos with rips and stains this one was very easy.
If you can keep your head, while those around you are losing theirs, you may not have grasped the seriousness of the situation.
I've copied your pic @wild edges onto the laptop, but I can send you the original. Did you mean by PM? The pic on Page 2 is the original one though, with the yellow loop - the only one I have.
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....
I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
If you're happy to email me the original or send me a link to an uncompressed file then that would be the best. The forum reduces the photo size and quality.

If you're happy to send me your email by PM @wild edges, that might be easier for me. Daughter isn't around to help with the link, and I'm not tech savvy enough to do it.

@Fairygirl Phil has confirmed that he has been to Glen Nevis and Sgurr Eilde Mor. Sadly no time to walk or climb as he is spending time looking after clients. Some may think it is a great job going all over the world showing people how to take photos however it is hard work too. He said he was pleased you liked his photos. Suze
I have worked as a Gardener for 24 years. My latest garden is a new build garden on heavy clay.
I've bookmarked his site @GardenerSuze, so I look forward to keeping an eye on him Great that he's been around there a good bit, and yes - definitely hard work. No comparison whatsoever with what I do - just stopping and taking a quick photo and hoping it's half decent when I get home and look! I've had some great walks in The Mamores, but I'm not sure how many more big days I'll manage with my dodgy knees. The two Binneins were a very tough day, but very rewarding. I particularly liked the pic I got of Nevis and the CMD arete from Sgurr E.M, looking across Binnein Mor. Beautiful blue skies after a frosty start, and then a plane appeared overhead. I can't believe it was more than 6 years ago. I was the only person on the hill that day too. Bliss

Some wonderful photos! This thread has had me rooting through the slides I took back in my old mountain walking days. I may be tempted to buy a digital film scanner sometime soon.
Clay soil - Cheshire/Derbyshire border. I play with plants and soil and sometimes it's successful

No recent hill photos here, sadly, but I agree about magical planes...
