We've just rounded off half-term with a couple of days out. RSPB Newport Wetlands today (AKA Eiffel Tower World™) which is my oldest boy's favourite place for obvious reasons...
One of the best nature reserves in the UK for observing pylons in their natural habitat and boasts a high diversity of species. Also they have birds apparently, just in case several hours of looking at pylons isn't your thing.
We also managed a brief walk around the Forest of Dean on Sunday before we gave in and let them wear each other out in the adventure playground.
