  • Hi all,

Busy day today, our Christmas Craft Market, some really super stalls and great attendance.

Christmas menu went down well, a 5 🌟 review left on Google.

And, I also signed on the dotted line for my new house. 😁

Still a long way to go, but I'm committed to buy and the seller is committed to sell to me. Just need the man from Del Monte to say Yes. 😅

Good Morning Dove, and all those to follow.

I was up at 6 for a hot honey and lemon drink (with coughing episode), repeated that again at 8, and now I have a coffee to attempt to jolt myself into the land of the living.

    Have a pleasant Sunday folks.

    Good morning all,
Excellent news @D0rdogne_Damsel. 🤞it all goes through as hoped.
The weather can’t make its mind up whether to be grey and dull or brighten up a bit. The sun keeps trying, but it’s a battle.
I’m going to get out the Christmas cards shortly and begin writing the ones that need posting - all the forthcoming strikes mean they’ll either arrive late or early, so I’d better get a move on. Not sending as many this year, though. Some will have an e card instead.
Hope you all have a good Sunday.

    Hi all

Lie in this morning, heavy rain kept me awake last night.
Off to clear up more leaves.

Hello all, I've put some washing out in anticipation that the sun will shine, but it's having none of it. I haven't even thought about Christmas cards yet, I suppose I ought to, especially the ones for the UK! The list is getting shorter each year as we have had a few deaths in the family over the last couple of years.
I started to do some tidying in the garden yesterday, the sun was quite warm. Cut back an Aster which I don't know the name of, it's tall and arching with small flowers. Zinnias are still flowering especially the small ones that haven't been battered by the wind.
OH says he's fed up with tiling in the loo and shower - he's doing the tricky bits now where pipework and sockets are, I'm keeping him supplied with tea and biscuits  :)

    Good afternoon everyone.

Cold here too @floralies  The sun is doing its best to come out but the grey sky is winning.  1°C this morning with a light frost.

Working on my family history project today - a bigger job that I thought and rather daunting - I keep reading everything!

I hope you are having an enjoyable Sunday.

Good afternoon everyone. Finally cold here and very grey. Walk in town in the morning with finish at a Christmas market with good food and good cheer.
    Great news @D0rdogne_Damsel!

    All the best to all.

Good luck @D0rdogne_Damsel. I hope it all goes smoothly.

This afternoon we watched an old 1960 film, School for Scoundrels. It made us laugh and there were people like Ian Carmichael, Terry Thomas, Hattie Jacques, Alastair Sim - all looking very familiar. Shows how old we are! But men's attitude towards women did seem weird.
Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.
