  • Hugs (virtual) and get well wishes @AuntyRach, real shame to miss the works Xmas do after such a hard year. ☹️
Not sure I'm up to eating Xmas cake or pudding ever again, I seem to have been stirring up forever. 😅

Glad to hear you're feeling a bit more 'alive' @punkdoc, and a huge hug to @Hostafan1, don't be a stranger.

Hope you feel better too @Pat E

Now, back to the ironing ☹️

    Good night all.

First mince pie of the season, very nice, hope there are plenty more where that came from, but they are hidden. She knows what I am like.

I'm sorry you are feeling so off colour @AuntyRach and I'm glad you are alive and able to appreciate mince pies @punkdoc.

It's been a quiet day, wrote more cards, cleaned the sitting room, spoke to friends on the phone and watched Strictly - fast forwarding quite a bit.

  • Good morning all 😊 ☕️
Hope the poorly are feeling a bit better today 🤗
8C and cloudy but dry. Looks as if we have a fairly dry week ahead 😊. I know we still need rain but we do need to do a bit of sorting out here and we’re way behind usual.
Well, yesterday there was no sign of Transco or whatever they’re called nowadays, despite their equipment being all over the roads and pavements… hopefully it’ll be today that the gas man cometh … 😉

    Hi all
Heavy frost overnight, but the promised fog has not materialised.
Hope to carry on leaf harvesting.

    Morning All.

Hope you start to feel better soon @AuntyRach.  Sometimes these viruses disappear as fast as they arrived, so 🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻 for the weekend party.

Finally got to the end of my Autumn garden “jobs to do” list yesterday.  Just aswell as December is fast approaching.  Looking forward to a weekend in Strasbourg to visit the Christmas markets this weekend.  Sisters, Chicklets, Nieces …….we shall be quite a merry band.  Going by train, so super early start required on Friday.  Thermals packed as it looking cold but , at least for the moment, dry.

Having a bit of a flashback morning here.  Have been asked to deliver some Citizens Advice training on Energy (my old world) - so currently battling with Powerpoint, and feeling slightly sick 🤢

The Amaryllis is still on the cusp.  Any day now ….

Poor Nanny Beach, have you got any Olbas Oil?
Sunny but cold here. Might get some leaves swept up, and then again, I might not! Trying to encourage OH to finish some house jobs, without sounding as if I’m nagging. If I clear another gutter, that might make him feel guilty? Trying to get straight well before Christmas, but I bet we have our usual last minute panic, stuffing things out of the way and not finding them again for years, if ever.
