Ergates, what is the olbas oil for? ( Well, obviously I DO know what it's for.) My ails were abdo (and so forth related,if I told you, the emergency cancer pathway appointment was gynae) surely the only thing you want to stuff,is the turkey 🦃

Morning all from chilly, foggy Dordogne.

I hope you have a great time @chicky.

We are off to the SM, Lidl I think, and I hope the shop a bit like Wilko has crackers in.
Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.

I spoke too soon, fog has now descended and it has got even colder. Quite spooky out there.
How can you lie there and think of England

Sorry, Nanny Beach, should have checked back properly before posting! The Olbas oil was a suggestion for AuntyRach, and her bunged up head.
  • Hi everyone,  colder but damp it's supposed to be dry!  Man due to service the boiler this pm, it's  a bit overdue, working fine but need it done to maintain warranty.
Hope you head clears soon @AuntyRach.

Ah right Ergates, mine involves putting the dog out as soon as he wakes up..... night and day. My daughter ( who has a 2 months old) said it's just like having a baby. Yes, but the dog is mobile and doesn't wear a nappy!

Hello all. Freezing fog first thing here so very glad I wasn’t out and about in that.

Still feeling grim here. I do use Olbas oil, in fact I might do a steam inhalation now.

    Take care all.

Good afternoon. We have sunshine at the moment but not allowed to do any garden work or lift. The physio is beginning to work so I'd better obey orders.
Lots of birdies feeding in the garden and the holly might be bare before I have a chance of cutting a few twigs for indoors. Love blackbirds though.

    Good afternoon,
It was quite foggy here this morning but has lifted to a dull, grey, damp afternoon. The mist is still hovering in the fields around us though, so I suspect the fog will return.
I popped out this morning but don’t plan on venturing out this afternoon, just potter with some indoor jobs to be done.

    Good afternoon
Lovely sunny day here too.  Bit of a keen wind but I have opened the conservatory doors to the lounge and it is now 18°C.  Rode my magic bike to the SM for a few goodies this morning.  At the checkout, I couldn't find my bike and lock keys!  Panic! I pulled out of the queue, went to Reception to see if anyone had handed in some keys.  No.  They looked after the caddy whilst I went outside to the bike stand - there they were still in the 'ignition' and the bike duly locked.  Phew!  A very very senior moment!!

Will be a pleasant walk with the dog this afternoon.

Sorry to hear about the dog @Nanny Beach - a bit of a piddle!!

I hope everyone is enjoying their day so far.  Keep warm!
