Huge queue for Bettys restaurant and down at the coffee hut. Eventually we got a coffee and a fat rascal from the shop and sat outside with it. Lovely weather to wander around. It seems like half of grey haired Yorkshire had the same idea.
Strong gusts last night have stripped the Acer of most of its leaves but at least the easterly direction has deposited them on our flower beds rather than all down the road as per usual. Crocosmia 'Emily McKenzie' still flowering.

I go for a walk most days. Last week these trees were green. This is yesterday, autumn has arrived in Norfolk.

Even hostas when they start to turn and decay are very attractive.
If somebody knows what tree that could be, I would be pleased if you share it with me.
