    Fabulous Woodgreen. 
    When I planted this garden I was sorely tempted with Acer griseum but didn't buy it. I regret not doing now. 

    Leaves are falling like snow in the garden now and I don't think there will be many more colours. My Parrotia persica hasn't given me the redness that I was hoping for but it's still been lovely. This is the latest pic.

    Your parrotia may yet turn red or orange @Uff, at least partly. They are incredible trees. Some leaves have splashes of almost fluorescent pink....
    I listened to a video/podcast earlier that @Fire posted. In it the man from East Ruston Gardens mentioned parrotia, and that his had flowered well this year. Mine did too, the first time I recall it being so good.
    The acer griseum is usually the last to turn colour here, apart from the big beech tree which is just starting to show bits of yellow at the branch ends.
    Climbing hydrangeas are now gold too.
    A good year for autumn colour.
