I like it, @Papi Jo! Too wet now to play here, and only beech leaves left, but I have some nice memories of earlier in the autumn when the weather was kinder. I do envy your 'Evereste'.

I spotted this when I was walking on Sunday, resting on the stump of a very old oak tree. The different colours caught my eye.
This is a branch on an apple tree. Every branch is beautifully dressed in mosses and lichens, hardly any bark visible, right to the ends of the twigs.
And the dawn redwood trunk, with it's caverns and clefts, mosses and lichen.
Too wet now to play here, and only beech leaves left, but I have some nice memories of earlier in the autumn when the weather was kinder.
I do envy your 'Evereste'.
