Lovely pics again folks. If you want to come to Scotland then you should. It's the most beautiful place. I've been coming up here for 50 years this September past and I never tire of it because the scenery seems to change several times a day when the light changes.
Right then. That bracken. The first pic is front facing again, the second I turned it around and held it, the third is a close up of the back of it. It's quite a large bank of it and I gave it a good looking over and there wasn't another stem like it.
@Uff, that looks more brown y-purple in those photos than the blue shade in your first photo. What colour did you think it was in the flesh, so to speak.
When I arrived home yesterday I mentioned the garden was a blaze of colour. This morning even the little bonsai is trying it's best and on closer look I even found a little fungi growing in the moss which made me smile.
The colours are just getting better folks, wonderful. I mentioned the other day that my euonymus alatus wasn't doing much again this year, I think I spoke too soon because it's gradually changing colour. See it in between the hebe and dogwood. Also the acer osakazuki is only little but just getting more red by the day.
