    @Silver surfer would know
  • @Woodgreen The leaves are not the same in this one compared with the Raywood ash tree. Unfortunately it will rain tomorrow but I do my best to get a real close up with my tele lens camera.

  • There is no doubt Woodgreen  that this is my tree: https://duckduckgo.com/?q=fraxinus+raywood+tree&t=h_&iax=images&ia=images

    It is a lovely specimen @Simone_in_Wiltshire, and I hope it stands for many more years.
    Thank you for posting and sharing it with us.

    I'm so pleased to be learning about this tree. There's no doubt that it's quite glorious in the autumn.

    What a lovely idea @Simone_in_Wiltshire. I must say that seeing members photographs is making autumn even more interesting for me.

    I planted one of those outside our fence a year or so ago so I'm very much hoping it will look as lovely as yours @Uff. It seems to be a slow grower so far. My mum had one by our front gate when I was a child so I'm looking forward to seeing the pink/orange berries on mine in due course.
