Autumn Colours

    There is a huge storm just hitting the woods where I am - colour, conkers and acorns are flying through the sky. I very much hope the colourful trees doesn't land on the cabin and turn me into a colourful splat on the colourful floor. :D

    Great to hear and see full scale thunder and lightning, rolling and booming. Gusts of 40 mph. It's about as autumny as autumn gets. It's promising to be quite a night with some show of havoc in the morning.

    @coccinella. I think your first fungi is a magpie inkcap. I'm envious, they aren't common in the UK. A wonderful find. The second one is fly agaric both are said to be poisonous.

    Ten years ago exactly London was under snow. Today I am cavorting in the woods in a t shirt and sunblock. 21oC

    Berries are plentiful this year. Thank you @Uff for the names of those mushrooms.
