That's a great order, @Tack!😍 If they still had Versigny in stock I would have to go and grab Purple Lodge from there too. Perhaps next year.
  • Thanks so much, @Tack.   :)
Since 2019 I've lived in east Clare, in the west of Ireland.
  • Success!!  And all the roses I wanted are still available.  Thanks again, @Tack.  Hope the delivery man isn't confused that I live at no.00...

Plenty of practice with SWDs over the last decade or so Tack, but yes the first puppy cut is always a wriggly, clipper-biting challenge!

WAMS roses in the UK are often more floriferous in the summer than mine as the heat gets to many of them, but MP has been one of the notable exceptions. Can’t see why it wouldn’t do well for you tho.

I did the same as Tack @Liriodendron, 0 for house number, house name under company name. I don’t have a road name either, just a road number and KM mark. I think I emailed them originally to give them the correctly ordered address and they adjusted in their registration info. Also a request to include my mobile number on the address label for the local couriers, who can’t find me since they can’t put it in their satnav. ETA - I see you’ve done it, glad you managed to snaffle what you wanted Lirio!
Mountainous Northern Catalunya, Spain. Hot summers, cold winters.
  • Hopefully, @Nollie, the courier will be ok without my mobile number...  each house in Ireland has its own Eircode (postal code) so he should be able to work out where I live, even if the address looks a bit odd.  Fingers crossed!
TCL say they expect to send the roses out either this week or the first week in January.  Sounds good to me - though if it's this week, they might have to be heeled in in the veg patch until after Christmas.   :)

@WhereAreMySecateurs you did indeed, ONE viable flower on koko loko. Few teeny new buds mauled by aphids too, but im not impressed!
Cant even find a picture on my phone, think I possibly posted one though..  hopefully fares better this year! I shall give it lots of food and water and a good mulch, see if that helps...
