Plenty of practice with SWDs over the last decade or so Tack, but yes the first puppy cut is always a wriggly, clipper-biting challenge!
WAMS roses in the UK are often more floriferous in the summer than mine as the heat gets to many of them, but MP has been one of the notable exceptions. Can’t see why it wouldn’t do well for you tho.
I did the same as Tack @Liriodendron, 0 for house number, house name under company name. I don’t have a road name either, just a road number and KM mark. I think I emailed them originally to give them the correctly ordered address and they adjusted in their registration info. Also a request to include my mobile number on the address label for the local couriers, who can’t find me since they can’t put it in their satnav. ETA - I see you’ve done it, glad you managed to snaffle what you wanted Lirio!

I mentioned upthread about a problem with my LEH standard from lens, with a thorn pushing off one of the grafts. To report back, lens responded immediately, saying sorry for missing that ‘strange phenomenon’. After a friendly exchange, plus my subsequently noticing another branch at the back of that graft which was firmly attached (oops) we agreed I should just cut the lower, split cane right back to reduce pressure on the graft and see how it goes. They advised to prune new growth carefully to make sure a bud eye was facing in the right direction to fill out the gap and to keep them updated. I’m very happy with that. Nice to see them fully engaging and not treating the customer like an idiot!

Hopefully, @Nollie, the courier will be ok without my mobile number... each house in Ireland has its own Eircode (postal code) so he should be able to work out where I live, even if the address looks a bit odd. Fingers crossed! TCL say they expect to send the roses out either this week or the first week in January. Sounds good to me - though if it's this week, they might have to be heeled in in the veg patch until after Christmas.
Since 2019 I've lived in east Clare, in the west of Ireland.
My TCL order left on the 15th, usually takes 10 days or more, with the holidays I might get it by New Year. I’m expecting:
Boule de Neige
Souvenir de St Anne (replacement)
Versigny
Roald Dahl
Yolande d’Aragon
Duc de Guiche
Blue for You
Royal Celebration
Stormy Weather (a second one)
And possibly Falstaff and Vichy, which I asked to be added last minute but don’t know if they’re included. Annoyingly, at the time I didn’t notice they’d got CPM in again.

Some of you are worse than me, or how I used to be... so many great choices..
I've just ordered one from White's which won't be delivered until the new year. 'Mme. de la Roche-Lambert'.. a damask/moss.. I've had it before but I really had no room then..
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to all on Roses !...
@WhereAreMySecateurs you did indeed, ONE viable flower on koko loko. Few teeny new buds mauled by aphids too, but im not impressed! Cant even find a picture on my phone, think I possibly posted one though.. hopefully fares better this year! I shall give it lots of food and water and a good mulch, see if that helps...
Wonders will never cease, my TCL order arrived this morning! Sadly they failed to include Duc de Guiche but I did get Vichy and Falstaff added. They didn’t charge me for the missing DdeG nor Roald Dahl. So one down but a freebie to compensate.
All look really good, big roots and well-branched as per TCL’s usual standard. One cane of Stormy Weather was broken off, but not too worried about that since it’s pretty vigorous. Just dumped in a bucket for now, Christmas chores piling up so will get round to sorting them on boxing day.
Until then, Merry Christmas 🎄 everyone and wishing you all a fruitful and rosy New Year 🥂
