    @Mr. Vine Eye...I've had 'Lady of the Lake' for quite a few years now and is probably my favourite rose. It never disappoints, is always in flower and smells lovely.

    They all look great, @Tack. Blue River looks as though it might snag one's cardie from time to time!

    I just spoke to a friend who has Savoy Hotel and they said its fragrance is only mild... but that the Harkness "Hamilton Princess" is similar and has a terrific fragrance (and is £9 at Cottage Memories🙄).
    With friends like this, who needs enemies...

    Er thanks! Haha, not rated on HMF either. Oh well, will teach me to do more research on my 'justify the delivery' and 'must shop the sale' purchases.

    I'm well stocked up on compost for mulching now. 800L for £40 not too bad! Same price as last yea, it's a different brand so hope it's as good as last year's.

    Peat Free
    That's a great price! Can I ask where you ordered from please?

    Wow so many messages to catch up. Love all dog photos and the dog art.

    Nice to hear from you @celcius_kkw. Looking forward to your rose photos.

    I love hostas but very hard to keep the leaves intact with all the snails. Couple of years ago I had 18, some with very fragrant flowers. Now I have downsized to five.

    @Mr. Vine Eye, that is very good price. There is nothing here for even double the price.

  • @peteS - yes we spoke about her when I first ordered a couple of years ago. Actually I can’t remember how old she is. If this is third year or second. Must be third, I think she just didn’t grow much last year.

    @celcius_kkw  Welcome back!

    @TracyP  Just picked up from my nearest garden centre.

    I bought the same 50L peat free compost from h0mebase; it was 10 for £30 online, but £35 in-store. https://www.homebase.co.uk/supagrow-peat-free-organic-garden-compost-50l/12906252.html

    And dances with the daffodils (roses). Taking a bit of liberty with Wordsworth :)

    Just had to email crocus to complain about a clematis they sent, hopefully they resolve it swiftly :/

    winter clematis was sent half dead and now seems to be fully dead, I should have complained when I received it! Will definitely have to order from taylors next time judging from the plants you’ve all received!
