    All my other plants I received were planted over last couple of days..  hard work but I got there too..   I've also ordered some martagon Lilies..
    I love Martagons, we have some dotted around in the shade.  Mind you I came across a colony when I dug up the white Lilac of about 17 Martagon bulbs, I planted them all into pots, so I can make sure they are what Mum says they are, as I cannot tell just by looking at the bulb.

    @Marlorena thanks, unfortunately Esveld don’t sell any of the drought tolerant perennials I’m looking for - no agastache or echinacea, for example. I considered asking my Dutch neighbour to do some research for me, but she’s pretty busy just now, so I’ll probably just see what turns up locally. Maybe this year will be better!

    I spotted that too itsgorgeous. I really wanted Usha Ki Kiran too but sold out. Ive got a couple of theirs new this year in the front, hopefully good!

     Checkmate i have of theirs is stunning, im hoping my training it better gets more flowers this year.
  • Went out today to plant a couple of primula . Didn't realise just how dry the soil was, so went around the roses in tubs and gave them a drink out of the butt. It may have been cold, but its not been a wet winter here.

    @JessicaS wow, just looked up Checkmate... too lovely! I have recently planted It's A Wonderful Life but must study their whole catalogue properly.🤓

    ^like a Camellia that one...

    @purplerallim
    Yeah, same here.. I was digging today and the soil in my dry border is already like dust, and there's not much moisture in better parts of the garden.. I planted a clematis and it's quite dry down there about a foot or so..
    Makes me laugh these days, I was reading on another forum,  people think it's always dark and raining in England - ... not where we are..
