Wow, @Busy-Lizzie. Do you happen to know what the glorious pink ruffled beauty second from bottom is?

I was told by the speaker, when I raised the question, how they dealt with blackspot but apparently they don't get it at all. I was astounded! The speaker also told me that if you have blackspot in your garden, then you will always have it which is a bit of a blow.

Well that's not exactly true! I went in October last year, while I realize that it was coming to the end of the season, but I would say 80% of the roses had blackspot! It was the first thing that I noticed because it made me feel so much better about my own roses not being in grea condition.

Oh my goodness, I ordered some plants a few days ago and received the invoice as an email attachment. I've just opened it....

Crikey @Tack, that's a lot of plants! Do you have a huge garden? Why so many of each sort?

Not my invoice...I hope. Bears no relation to my order which was confirmed after I checked out. I have been expecting the plants today, what if this order arrives tomorrow?  :D

    Crikey!

@TracyP, well, I must say I was a bit sceptical, having seen the absolutely packed beds with hundreds of roses.
