@Tack, how ever did they get a 18ft tree through your letterbox!! Fingers crossed it establishes well and is a long way from your house. I speak from experience as one who has two 50ft birches within 3-4 metres of our house, not a good idea at all.

    Love the two roses.

Lovely shades of cream and pink on that GdF as if it is glowing.

Thanks @Discandied, narrow can be useful 😊

I don’t have any appetite for buying roses direct from DA, their bare root prices are more than double the norm for the EU, they don’t offer standards and I hate their policies. Hence snaffling them up from other suppliers while I can!

@Imprevu I had a look, Peach Ghislaine looks more pink than peach on the complete bush shots, so I’m not sure there is much difference between original GdeF anf Pink GdeF. It says it’s a ‘descendant’ of GdeF, so maybe a seedling/cross rather than a true sport?  You will have to try it and report back!

@Tack, the William Shakespeare 2000 I cancelled is available to order again if you want it. https://www.trevorwhiteroses.co.uk/shop/david-austin-english-roses/william-shakespeare-2000/
     :)

I decided to try Lolabelle instead... get away from DA roses a bit. ;)

Quite amazing colour on your GDf, @imprevu!

I nabbed it thanks Secateurs! And to justify the delivery, Mutabilis too.
