    @Marlorena thanks for the recommendations and what an interesting thread. How did you find out that user was T Carruth? I'm excited for my two Ab Fabs I ordered. Funnily enough I looked at his latest rose activity on Houzz and it was a thread about purple roses (an ID). He recommended Perfume Factory. I wonder who bred that one.........:D

    ..lol.. well there you go.. to give credit where due though, he does list the breeding of his roses down to the last detail, usually.  They don't all do that unfortunately, and never from Austins these days, and I doubt he'd recommend one of theirs..

    I've only grown I think 3 of his and they did exceptionally well here in a short time, they seem suited to dry areas with lower rainfall.  Some of the names he gives, or Weeks gives, are gimmicky to say the least.. 'Ch-Ching'.. 'Yabba Dabba Doo'.. ?  I mean..

    One gets to know these people over time on forums.. I was interested in another small purple rose of his called 'Royal Celebration'.. but didn't get it in the end.
    Incidentally, his breeding work often includes an old Harkness rose called 'International Herald Tribune', which is also found in some other purple roses we grow like 'Forever Royal'.. one of my best roses here..

    @Tack
    I meant to say earlier, lovely floral  bouquet and you've been partying quite a bit too, nice to have family around now after all the lockdown business..

    Enjoying the snowy garden scenes too, none here, which is unusual for us..

    Has anyone in UK ordered from Lens recently?  Nollie's bareroots look extraordinarily good..

    Thank you sooooo much. With free delivery (FREEDEL) which they are applying to your basket, it is an OK price... very happy to get it.
