Oh wasn't he lovely back then @Dovefromabove! 😍
@Woodgreen I like that you are willing to explore things that aren't necessarily your taste... It's how we discover new loves! I have an extremely eclectic musical taste... Being 46 my youth included rock, folk, punk, house, blues, Motown, classical, rap, reggae and everything in-between.... And I haven't changed!

My back pages … Rod Stewart at the Black Prince, Bexley (tickets 10/-), the Incredible String Band at the Roundhouse, Dave Bowie at the Beckenham Arts Lab and Bromley Common free festival, Tyrannosaurus Rex and the Velvet Underground at the Fairfield Halls, Family at de Montfort Hall, Roxy Music at Leicester University, the Stones at Hyde Park … and Bobby Vee live on Crackerjack! There were loads more, I just wish I kept the entry tickets.

Best gig ever: really tough one, but possibly Selecter / Madness / the Specials, Portsmouth 1979. I danced with Pauline Black [ lead singer of the Selecter.

How can you lie there and think of England

    I enjoyed that @Alan Clark2 in Liverpool.
But thought I'd never get Alexa to recognise it (what with my northern accent we do have problems...)
But she must have been impressed too because she got it first time and I'm listening to the whole thing.
    Thanks.

Have you prog rockers come across the Burning Shed website yet? Surround sound remixes of King Crimson, Yes and many others; re-releases of Ozric Tentacles, Tangerine Dream, Jethro Tull, Van der Graaf Generator and many more.
