    First Sunday in Advent

    Naturally!  What else?

Lovely. Conducted by Stephen Cleobury. He died in 2019, sadly. My OH sang in a concert in Ely Cathedral that was conducted by Stephen Cleobury so I met him.

At the moment I'm listening to OH practising a Chopin Nocturne on the piano, which has just been tuned.
Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.

One of Tim Story's many beautiful tone poems. (The ads at the beginning only last a few seconds!)

I need my chariots of fire today.

Thank you for this, Sam.  I love it and play it almost every morning to inspire and motivate me.  The film, "Chariots of Fire", is my favourite out of a large number of films that I like a lot.  I think I've seen it over 35 times.

This always reminds me of my Father who loved much of the music of the Sixties.

An exceptional film and, I think, I can see why you love it.

    Mine too!

A time to be born, a time to die
A time to plant, a time to reap
A time to kill, a time to heal
A time to laugh, a time to weep...
