What ever genre of music you like, please try to catch up with the C4 series the Piano. They put a Piano in train stations and invite amateurs to play. They know they are being filmed. What they don't know is they are being secretly watched by Mica and Lang Lang. Later they are brought together to meet them and be invited to a special concert later &one is chosen to play at the concert. There are some truly inspirational performances and back stories. So much talent out there, some only started playing in lockdown some have been playing all their lives, it emphasises the power of music in so many ways.

Yes I enjoyed the first airing last week and have yesterday's recorded. It does irk me though that Claudia Winkelman is forever referring to Lang Lang as the greatest pianist in the world, and tbh I've never heard of the other bloke before

Yes but you can just concentrate on the performances. I don't want to spoil it but one performance from this week, leaves both "experts" open mouthed and lost for words. It will make sense when you see it. If you don't want to watch the whole thing go to YouTube Amber Trust Lucy's story.
As suggested by @Allotment Boy. In addition, this video gives credit to her amazing, inspirational, empathetic teacher, who also happens to be a friend and former colleague of my husband... do give "The Piano" a watch if you can.
Since 2019 I've lived in east Clare, in the west of Ireland.

I was in bits, totally, watching that performance.
Clay soil - Cheshire/Derbyshire border. I play with plants and soil and sometimes it's successful

What an amazing performance. For one so young she played that nocturne with such feeling and emotion many concert pianists would struggle to achieve. I hope her condition allows her to continue to learn and perform
