what music are you listening to?

At the moment i like the Petersens, the group is of family members.

    I’m not much of a fan of country/blue grass music. That said, one of my favourite albums is Grateful Dead’s ‘American Beauty’ which certainly has a nod to the country music tradition.

    I would have liked to hear the Petersens live in a field, not a studio.

    The album I have been returning to again and again is the Buena Vista Social Club. So many layers of memory.

    On the computer I listen to CDs, an eclectic mix, all old stuff, whatever appeals at the time - Portuguese fado with Amalia, Piaf, Juliette Greco, jazz with Ella or Louis, classic guitar with Julien Bream or Segovia,  some Greek with Nana or  maybe Cesaria Evora.
    But for sheer bliss I need good coffee, good chocolate and Beethoven's Eroica!

    I’ve not listened to this in an age. Time to fire it up again.

    At this very moment I am listening to a recording of Wednesday's Folk Show, BBC radio 2. 
    Will check out the Petersen  :)

    I admit I am mostly an audio book fanatic, so if you ask me what I am usually listening to while awake - it's one of those.
