Ah @punkdoc, Dave Gilmour's solos really spin me out, I adore him! I've had this as my ear-worm for two days, but I've only just found out 'Sugar Bear' was Long John Baldry! I love a bit of old Elton. https://youtu.be/A-2vN3YJ29k
We saw her at the NEC in Birmingham, it must have been around 1995 as she sang "Goldeneye" which hadn't been out for very long. Such energy and a lovely lady, never forgotten it. And those legs...
It’s Tina here, too. What an amazing lady. OH and I saw her at Birmingham NEC around 1989/90. The exact year defeats me, but I think she was aged about 50 because I remember thinking that if I was as fit at 49/50 as she was then, I’d be well pleased! I’m fairly fit, (and well over 49, I hasten to add), but nowhere near as fit and energetic as Tina was. I saw her concert on tv last night, I think she was 70 then, and thought, just “wow”, such energy. Can’t imagine my energy will be like that when I reach 70 (God willing).
