Thanks @pansyface. A few days ago I saw a documentary with Lucy Worsley about carols and their pagan/subversive origins. They kept their secularity content for centuries and then they were incorporated into the church in Victorian times in part to lure away drinkers from pubs 😄
I think that the people in Ecclesfield had a good time. I wander if the weather also played a part in keeping people at home.
Mine too... Went to see them at earls court for the 25 anniversary of dark side.... It was incredible.... They played the entire album right through as well as a selection of classics! I was 19 😀
