This has been my ear-worm for days. Loved the band since I was a teenager, and especially this beautiful track as it was played at the funeral of a close friend.
Led Zeppelin are obviously in a different league but, out of nothing more than curiosity, I was wondering yesterday how much groups popular then but rarely heard of today are receiving annually in royalties. I am thinking of bands like Hawkwind, Wishbone Ash, Mott the Hoople et al.
I hear all of those bands (and others of similar vintage) on the radio quite regularly.
