  • That'll be lovely @Busy-Lizzie ☕😊
Give me a few days ... you really don't want to catch this lurgy.  My son says there's a lot of it about, so it does look as if it's a tummy bug.

  • We have seen the news too, all the family are gathering-not a good sign.  I did notice the other day that she had a massive bruise on her right hand when she greeted LT.  It's the sort of bruise people get when a canula has been dislodged.

Afternoon all, that's definitely not good news is it @Allotment Boy? Do hope the Queen pulls through but somehow doubt it. I suspect the excitement of Tuesday didn't help.

We have had heavy and frequent showers all day, following heavy rain overnight. I slept right through that, had a good eight hours plus which I probably needed. It takes a lot of energy to pull on OH's pressure stockings every morning!

I drove him up for another physio session at lunchtime then we treated ourselves to tea and cake again for a treat at our local GC. I also bought new garden clogs as my old ones have split and new Showa gloves as well as 2 bags of Jack Magic on special offer. Pleased to see it contained some reduced peat and not the peat free rubbish.

Not sure you should be attempting to self diagnose @Didyw, those symptoms warranted an emergency eye appointment, I would have thought.

Best wishes to @Pat E and her hubby.  Hope your tum soon settles down @Dovefromabove, presumably you haven't eaten any shellfish lately?

King Charles, that'll take some getting used to.
    Devon.
  • Thank goodness she spared us any bombastic outpourings of grief from Boris.

I’ve got a lot of time for Charles … I think he’ll be fine. I hope he doesn’t decide to change his name.

I agree with you about Charles @Dovefromabove. I think he will be a good king. I hope his people will allow him to be and support him.
