Agastache 'Blue Boa'. My first Agastache, only planted last autumn. Started flowering early June and pulled in the bees big time. I thought the flowers were going over by July but they've just kept going and the bees are still on them mid-August.
Clay soil - Cheshire/Derbyshire border. I play with plants and soil and sometimes it's successful
I bought Helenium "Short and Sassy" in an end of season plant sale last year. I was away in May but it was flowering in June and it's flowering now. It keeps growing bigger and producing new buds. It hasn't minded the temperature going up to 39C in SW France.
Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.
I like the look of that sanguisorba .... does it stay upright OK? I grow sanguisorba menziesii .... which is lovely but a bit of a flopper.
Thanks, Bee x
Yes it has for me, despite being in a spot where the wind rebounds off the fence. It's not overly tall and the upper part of the plant is just wiry stems and bobbles.

Our bidens aurea 'Hannay's and Jerusalem artichokes have been flowering there socks for a very long time still going strong. got different varieties of crosmosia all loving the sun,
Roses did very well for me this year. Our balance of rainfall and sunny days was basically perfect. I wish we could have more years like this without it meaning scorching heat and drought in more eastern parts of the country.

Liri, did you grow it from seed? I'd love to grow it en masse.
